Curators at The Sassoon Gallery in Peckham for 9 months in 2008. Here we programmed and presented a series of experimental audio/visual events, group shows and solo exhibitions.

September 2008 - Janek Schaefer / Yuri Suzuki
The first in a series of nights of curatorial experimentalism. Janek Schaefer is a world renowned artist, musician and composer who has recently been crowned British Composer of the Year 2008 (sound-art category). Janek played 2 sets, one as Janek, and the other as DJ Dedication. A few days later, he took part in Pat And Trevor's first recorded conversation on the radio. Yuri Suzuki is a product designer and electronic musician, who presented his Sound Chaser (a train-style record player) alongside his Prepared Turntable (a record player with 5 tone arms).
November 2008 - Leafcutter John / Seb Rochford (Nails)
The UK premiere of Nails (free-form outfit headed by two of the most influential musicians today - Seb Rochford and Leafcutter John) inspired us to invent a suitably free-form stage for the occasion. Constructed predominantly from things in the courtyard (scaffolding, industrial oven, palettes), the set also included 100 Metres worth of black webbing, alongside everything that £8 could get us from Buildbase.

March 2008 - We Can Elude Control / Paul Purgas
This event was specially commissioned by independent curator Paul Purgas, whose practice explores the current convergence of interests between contemporary arts practice and electronic music. A tour de force of sonic art and AV performance from within the gallery.
