Party on a Roof in Peckham: October 2006
In October 2006, Pat And Trevor found a space at the top of the Bussey building (an old cricket bat factory) in Peckham. At this time there was a large gallery space directly next to the roof on the 5th floor.
The space was transformed with theatre lighting, objects from our garden, projections and smoke machines.
There were 3 live performances from The Train Chronicles, Blah Blah Blah, and Gay Against You. Late of The Pier were also scheduled to play, but their drummer broke his foot.
In association with Artists Show Art and sponsored by Meantime Brewery, the event attracted over 600 people. We are indebted to big man Leon and big man Winston From the Crypt in Camberwell, Alice from the studios and Cressy for her technical know-how and tireless hard work.
