A six-part residency on the 'Primer' show at South City Radio (South London's community radio station). The Primer is a programme about arts and culture in South London. Pat And Trevor have been invited to curate the last 10 minutes of each show. The most recent show is at the bottom of the page.

Part 1 is a conversation with sound artist, musician and composer Janek Schaefer. Janek has recently been crowned as the British Composer of the Year 2008 (sound art category), for his project Extended Play - a triptych for the child survivors of war and conflict.

Part 2 is a conversation with Aaron Horn, son of legendary producer Trevor Horn (Buggles, Art of Noise, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, etc). Aaron was asked to respond to the same set of questions as Janek. The conversation lasted for a week, but was narrowed down to 5 minutes.

Part 3 was aired on Tuesday 3rd March, and features Capitol K. Capitol K has recently been traveling in South America. The show features a field recording of a mafia street parade in La Paz, Bolivia.

CK: Right now i'm an Bamboo flute
PT: What does HMV sand for?
CK: High Maintanace Vocalist
PT: What is the loudest sound you can't make?
CK: i can't fly a plane .. they are very loud
PT: What is the quietest sound you can make?
CK: i can make a high pitch sound with my voice that only a dog can hear
PT: What does an egg sound like?
CK: I have 5 egg shakers each has a different grain size and one is metal..
when you can feel the yoke of an real egg shake with in it's shell, it means the elasticity of the membrane holding it has deteriated thus it's un-advisable to eat...

Part 4 is a 1-hour Primer Special on the Elephant and Castle, produced in association with Pat And Trevor. It features an interview with Patrick Sutherland (documentary photographer and course director on MA Photojournalism at LCC), members of the Ultra-Red collective, the architect of the new Strata Tower, 2 songs from James Spankey, and a conversation with performance artist and LCC tutor, Leigh Clarke. It was broadcast on 87.7fm on Monday 18th May.
